On the morning of the attack, my family was just back from a vacation in Japan, we heard on the radio all the rocket alerts down in the south on the way home. Even though the north remains virtually untouched, there are still difficulties, my school has entered a state of "wartime education" and my sister was called into reserve duty, not to mention the constant threat from Hezbollah at the northern border. The displacement of southern citizens following the attacks made need for voluntary work in farms in such, so everyone is seeing themselves contribute.
