Based in Vienna, Centropa was founded in 2000 as an oral history institute. We asked over 1,200 elderly Jews still living in 20 countries in Europe, to share their pictures and stories of the entire 20 th century, just as they lived it.
Today we work in schools in the US, in Europe and in Israel. We bring teachers together to brainstorm with each other and share best practices.
