Story 84

When the war started, my brother was in the military. One of the military posts that

Hamas invaded was my brother’s. It happened all of a sudden. I was still asleep and my mother woke me up and said: “We are at war”. I woke into chaos, I didn’t know what happened and how my brother was doing. We all were so worried because we had no connection with him until the evening, when my parents got a call from the hospital saying that my brother is there, being treated. My parents drove to Tel Aviv immediately, and they even had to stop at the side of the road because of rockets, but they arrived safely at the hospital and stayed there for three days. After three days, my brother had a surgery to get the fraction of a rocket out of his leg and after a week of revalidation he came back home and he is still healing his physical and mental wounds, even five months later.
